GAINESVILLE, FL – It wasn’t easy, but top-ranked Kentucky continued its unbeaten start to the season with a 68-61 victory over Florida on Saturday night.
Aaron Harrison led the way with 23 points as the Wildcats improved to 23-0.
Florida got off to a hot start and led 30-28 at the half, but Kentucky rallied in the second half thanks in large part to superior free throw shooting. Kentucky was 21 of 22 from the line in the game, while Florida managed just seven makes on 14 attempts.
Kevin Kugler and Will Perdue called the action on Westwood One Sports.
