PHILADELPHIA, PA – Carson Wentz left the game in the first quarter with a head injury and didn’t return as the Seattle Seahawks defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 17-9 in an NFC Wild Card game on Sunday afternoon.
Josh McCown replaced Wentz, but wasn’t able to lead the Eagles into the end zone during the game. Russell Wilson had a touchdown pass and Marshawn Lynch added a touchdown run as the Seahawks set up a divisional matchup with Green Bay next Sunday.
Kevin Harlan and Brian Griese called the action on Westwood One.
The #WildCard round is in the books. @Kevinharlan & @briangriese look back on a big win in Philadelphia for the #Seahawks.
Meanwhile, next weekend it's #MINvsSF and #TENvsBAL on Saturday followed by #HOUvsKC and #SEAvsGB on Sunday. pic.twitter.com/pBXa9QypvP
