ORCHARD PARK, NY – It’s not often you receive a second chance to kick a game-winning field goal in the final seconds. But that’s exactly what happened for the Denver Broncos on Monday night at Highmark Stadium.
After appearing to lose the game on a missed 41-yard field goal with seven seconds left, Broncos kicker Will Lutz was given a chance at redemption when the Buffalo Bills were penalized for having too many men on the field.
On the ensuing play, Lutz drilled a 36-yard field goal as time expired to propel the Broncos to a 24-22 road win.
Kevin Harlan and Ross Tucker called the action on Westwood One.
