PHILADELPHIA, PA – Carson Wentz escaped what looked like a sure sack and scrambled for a first down and the Philadelphia Eagles never looked back, defeating the Washington Redskins 34-24 on Monday night.
Wentz’s remarkable run kept the drive alive before he connected with Nelson Agholor to give the Eagles a two-score lead. Philadelphia improved to 6-1 on the season.
Kevin Harlan and Boomer Esiason called the action on Westwood One.
