GLENDALE, AZ – In a high-scoring affair–a welcome change-of-pace for Thursday Night Football!–it was points generated by the Cardinals defense that turned the tide late in the first half. “Pick-sixes” on back-to-back series by Marco Wilson and Isaiah Simmons–with returns of 38 and 56 yards, respectively–gave Kliff Kingsbury’s team a 28-14 lead heading into the locker room, and they would never look back.
Eno Benjamin rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries.
Kyler Murray went 20-for-29, throwing for 204 yards and a touchdown pass to Greg Dortch. Meanwhile, it was DeAndra Hopkins who kept Arizona ahead of the sticks with 10 receptions for 103 yards.
Kevin Kugler and Ryan Leaf called the action on Westwood One.
