Super Bowl Flashback: Elway gets his ring

By the time he and the Denver Broncos reached Super Bowl XXXII after the 1997 season, John Elway was no stranger to the pomp and circumstance of the big game. But he also didn’t have any victories to show for his three previous trips to the NFL’s championship game. That was all about to change on January 25th, 1998 in San Diego.

With a 31-24 win over the heavily favored Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl XXXII, Elway and the Broncos finally flew higher than everyone else in the NFL.
