OMAHA, NE – It took another chance, but Vanderbilt got the job done the second time around, beating Texas 4-3 on Saturday night to advance to the best-of-three championship at the College World Series.
It’s the Commodores’ second trip to the CWS overall and second under head coach Tim Corbin, who also guided them to Omaha in 2011. That year ended in defeat in the preliminary round. This year, Vandy will try to win its first ever baseball national title against Virginia.
Ahead of the championship series, Corbin sat down with our Scott Graham.
