OMAHA, NE – Florida matched a College World Series record by plating 11 runs in the fourth inning en route to a 15-3 win over Miami on Saturday night.
The Hurricanes actually led the game early courtesy of a pair of RBI sacrifice flies, but the Gators poured it on in the fourth and never looked back.
Florida will face Virginia on Monday in the winner’s bracket, while Miami will take on Arkansas in an elimination game.
Kevin Kugler and John Bishop called the action from TD Ameritrade Park.
